Fundamentals of Business Analysis Course

Introduction

Business analysts provide the bridge between the business and IT systems, and are pivotal to organisational success.

Throughout the business world public, private and not for profit, organisations face immense challenges. Business Analysts must respond by developing practical creative and financially sound solutions.

We are reminded about the financial implications of the solutions proposed by business analysts by the questions posed by a manager from a large car manufacturer, whose response to a business case proposal was to ask 'how many more cars do we need to sell to pay for this' hence business analysis solutions must be unambiguous, cost effective and efficient.

This course would help to deliver a concise introduction into the world of a business analyst.

This 3 day course focuses on learning practical business analysis skills that can be used in the workplace. Participants would learn sufficient tools and techniques that would enable them to perform as an effective Business Analyst, immediately adding value and building effective relationships with project stakeholders.

The course focuses on learning how to do business analysis in the real world, however it also covers the whole of the BCS syllabus for the certificate in Requirements Engineering, this means participants have the option of taking fundamentals of business analyst foundation exam at the end of the course. Alternatively you can choose to sit the exam at a later date.
